On May 20, 2007 (while Victor was celebrating the end of the Spring semester at school by taking a weekend off in Yosemite), the choir from the First Presbyterian Church of Palo Alto sang their hearts out. Just have a listen...

Lou tried making a video of Claire, Nikki and Barbara's "Palm Dance," but, unfortunately, it did not work :-(.

Enjoy!

Mozart Requiem |
|
Victor performed this as a sophomore in high school and it has influenced his entire music career. Victor included this as part of his curiculium for his Waldorf High School Chamber Choir. It was performed twice in May 2006 by his students and the choir from First Presbyterian Chirch/Palo Alto.
From Lou (after the concert on Sunday, May 21 at the First Presbyterian Church/Palo ALto):
Although we did not have as many Woldorf students present, the concert was beautiful and brought tears of joy to many who attended! BRAVO!!
Contact Victor or the First Presbyterian Church in Palo Alto to get a CD of the Sunday, May 21, 2006 service (which includes the concert).
BRAVI A TUTTI !
Far surpassing my "grand notion" of what we could do - altogether, last night's Mozart Requiem was some of the most expressive singing and playing I have had the pleasure to conduct. From the bottom of my toes, my thanks to you who sang and played from the bottom of your heart.
Lou just happened to hit the record button on his technologically advanced cell phone (aka, his "tricorder"). Lou's cell phone recording for Thursday's concert sounds like the equivalent of a pirated recording from the 1950s - kinda glamorous, considering that it's us being recorded and not Maria Callas.
